Very nice atmosphere, very good food with an extremely good price-performance ratio ... We had a small family celebration and were all very satisfied.

We were here spontaneously and at first very impressed. The menu is very clear and the price level is a bit higher, but the quality of the food is worth it. The tables were all properly disinfected in Corona times, the toilets were also super clean and set up with a high standard of hygiene. Unfortunately, due to a misunderstanding, my wife was brought a wrong dish. In the end we had to wait over 20 minutes for the bill and were more or less ignored by the service. Unfortunately, that means a point deduction, otherwise we would have liked to give 4 or 5 stars. Maybe we were just unlucky. The ambience is great, there is also a shop with decorative items and a generous range of cakes / pies. We would love to come back and look forward to adding another 1-2 stars.

Absolutely no corona standards observed. Operation without a face mask, but always without any distance to the guest on the way. No noticeable separation of the routes through the building. Instead, you are led through other (very large) events. Ventilation complete nil. An absolute absurdity in pandemic times. We left this "restaurant" due to the shortcomings.

I celebrated my wedding there with coffee and cake and was completely satisfied. The service was great and the cake was delicious too.

I only rate the "service" guests here! Due to positive experiences in the Speicherstadt we drove the 37 km to the beautiful life in the country on Sundays. When entering the terrace there is a notice that you should wait to be seated. In Corona times completely ok, however, you would not have been completely ignored by 5 employees passing by. No quick eye contact or a friendly one, I've seen you and I'll take care of you straight away. After the third employee walked past us, we dared to ask whether the service to be placed would be carried out. Sloppy answer, I don't do that. When someone finally came and you wanted to show your displeasure for 14 minutes of ignorance, as a guest you get to hear that you are not discussing. My wife & I are both from the industry and that day it went wrong! Annoyed, we returned to Hamburg. We would have understood attention and the signal to take care of ourselves and we would have liked to wait, to be left standing is not hospitality. Maybe a bad day of service, enough service staff were there.

It's fine with coffee and cake. However, if you plan a larger event there, you will be left hanging. To find out a week before the wedding that the room "probably" has been booked twice and you cannot celebrate in the planned room is a meltdown! Above all, if the talks were held weeks ago and everything has already been planned for this location. To take your time with this information instead of informing the bride and groom right away, shows incompetence and unfortunately also the bitter aftertaste that the customer is not king here. Apart from the communication, which wasn't the best either. If you only meet society to a limited extent and want to put it in the middle of the restaurant, then for me that is neither professional nor decent, but simply a calculation in order to somehow still take the sales with you. Apparently, "Schöne Leben" does not depend on smaller companies (almost 30 people) and therefore accepts that we will definitely not recommend it, at least for larger events. Thanks to a professional, nicer location with excellent service and great communication, it was still a wonderful day.

It wasn't five stars for me today, but the food was very good, arrived quickly and the waitress was very friendly even though the service didn't work smoothly. Definitely recommended and there are plenty of opportunities to sit outside and something for everyone on the menu.

The name Schöne Leben hits the nail on the head: life is really particularly beautiful here. While the sheep graze on the dike, you can indulge in culinary delights and enjoy the lovely atmosphere. We like to eat à la carte, but have also been there several times for the Happiness Brunch on the weekend and for the Italian evening. Especially in the Corona period, we think it's great how professionally the hygiene concept is implemented and lived here. The seasonal and regional dishes are always beautifully presented, there is absolutely nothing that we miss - special requests are also gladly taken into account. The service is very attentive and we have the feeling that the atmosphere among the team is refreshingly harmonious. Many thanks also to Mrs. Stacklies, who, despite the many customers browsing the Schöne Leben shop, took a lot of time for us and advised us. If you are looking for unique items, you will find furniture and dreamy accessories that your heart desires - at a good price-performance ratio. We look forward to the next visit.

Very beautiful there. The large selection of very different seating options makes this restaurant something special. A very successful mix between a familiar and professional atmosphere. The cuisine is delicious too.

The best restaurant there is in the area. Everything perfect. The location is beautiful, the ambience is breathtakingly beautiful, the menu is small and fine, there is something delicious for every palate, and the trained staff is unique, always friendly, attentive and always with a smile on their face. I've been here many times and would love to come back. It's always nice.

Very clean, tidy and good tasting restaurant. Every time I am thrilled about the delicious dishes and the top staff. You can sit very comfortably both outside and inside.

My friends and I were here for the first time to celebrate a birthday and it couldn't have been better! From the ambience to the mood to the food, everything is incredibly beautiful, we even got a great separate room without even asking! We look forward to coming back :)

It was my first time in the "beautiful life" and was pleasantly surprised. An upscale restaurant with delicious food, friendly staff, and beautiful grounds. The prices of the dishes are a bit higher, but the portions are large. A small minus point is the garden. We have been assigned a place in it and because the tables and chairs are directly on the meadow, you may be sitting slightly obliquely or in our mouth. This is likely to be a problem for people with mobility problems. However, it would also be a shame to provide the meadow with stone slabs under the tables.

Service slow. Brought China tea when Earl Grey ordered. Gooseberry Baiser slice was very poor quality and as from 3rd rate bakery. Staff very polite. Interesting place but very disappointed

Just worth a visit !! However, only with a car to reach ... Is just on the dike. The house is furnished with absolute love and in every corner there are treasures to discover, which can also be bought! The attention to detail can be seen here. And so is the food. Whether break or coffee and cake, here is quality! Just a nice, relaxing and fantastic place! We recommend
